The version of Office Mobile in Windows Mobile 6 does not support the native Office 2007 file formats. To use Office 2007 documents on a Windows Mobile device you must save the files in an Office 2003 file format.
In the third quarter of this year Microsoft will release an upgrade to Office Mobile that will provide native Office 2007 file format support.

Frank. I have a Cingular (ATT) 8525. Am thinking about getting more RAM from PPC Techs. Would also like to upgrade things like the being able to close applications instaed of just windows and especially being able to link my contacts to my calendar. Before doing anything I want to ask about MW 6.x now. Is the upgrade a stable one? I have read a few things over the pats month elsewhere that the upgrade screws up the ROM. Your thoughts apprciated. Also, Just bout your McGraw Hill book yesterday. It's good, nbut obviously a little long in the tooth with all the add-ons available now and with OS 6 out there. Will there be a new edition or an online updtae?
BTW, I am into diagrammtic, interactive medical publishing using .svg applications like MS Visio. MW6.x are also mini Tablet PCs. I would like much to see in a new edition some relevant information about the components of the Tablet PC OS in the PPC platform. Also, GPSs have come a long way esp. iGuidance, Google Maps, etc. Such a discussion involves moderate detail assistance using SDIO as it relates to such devices. So, all in all, I think a new book is probably justified. All you have to do is convivne mCgRAWhILL OF SAME!
